MISSION

The Joe & Sandy Samberg Foundation is committed to empowering individuals, families and communities through funding non-profit organizations in select program areas. Since inception in 2008, our grants have supported the underserved throughout the lifespan — from physical and mental health, to food security, education, and employment. Given the current mental health crisis, we have prioritized this program area and are funding traditional approaches to mental health service delivery as well as alternative initiatives that incorporate psychedelics and/or complementary modalities as tools for strengthening mental wellness and cultivating personal growth.We approach our philanthropy as lifelong learners, with an entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative ethos. Given our New York roots, we have a special interest in organizations serving residents of the New York Metropolitan area.
